If your pup needs to lose some weight, then the turkey recipe is a great choice. It’s got turkey breast. kale, carrots, blueberries, and pumpkin. Everything your doggo needs to stay lean.

Ollie’s prices vary a lot based on your dog’s size and dietary needs. The bigger your pup, the more food you’ll need to order.

The price per meal plan can change depending on the plan and recipes you choose. For example, a beef-only fresh plan is slightly cheaper than other recipes, while a lamb-only fresh plan is the most expensive option.

To get an idea of what prices look like, I simulated 3 meal plans for different dog sizes. I chose the beef meals as they’re the most affordable.

• Smaller Dogs

For smaller dogs, I went with an active 4-month-old, 3lbs Toy Poodle. The quiz results told me it needed 112 calories in a day. The total costs worked out to $12.60 a week for the half-fresh plan and $18 a week for the full plan.

• Large Dogs

For very large dogs, I opted for a 4-year-old, 180lbs St. Bernard.  A 1-week starter pack of fresh food worked out to $125. For a 2-week half-fresh plan, the total came to $77 per week. Finally, for a 1-week mixed plan, it rounded off at $115.

• Average Size Dogs

Finally, for an average-sized dog, I chose a one-year-old 40-lb Alaskan Klee Kai. With a diet of 675 calories a day, 14 packs would last 2 weeks and would cost $51 per week for a full-fresh plan, $35.7 per week for a half-fresh plan, and $42 per week for a mixed plan.

So on average, you’re looking at around $6-7 dollars a day for an average-sized dog, less for a small pup, and more for a large doggo.

It might seem steep, but how much would you pay for plain raw food or home-cooked meals? $5? $6? The difference is negligible.

How to Sign Up

1. Go to Ollie’s website
2. Take the 8-step quiz. You’ll need to enter your name and email, the name of your pup, its birthday, breed, current weight, ideal weight (optional), spay/neuter status, activity levels (mellow, active, or very active), stool status, and add any food sensitivities or allergies from the list.
3. Read the quiz results to see how many calories your dog needs to eat in a day.
4. Choose the type of plan you want for your dog from the ones available: full fresh, half fresh, or mixed bowl.
5. Choose the recipe(s) you’d like. There are 4 fresh and 2 baked recipes you can mix and match. Click on each recipe to see the ingredients and nutritional info.
6. Add extras. Add any extra treats and supplements you’d like, or skip this step by clicking Skip.

Managing Your Subscription

It’s super easy. You can pause, skip, cancel your plans, or change delivery dates as long as you do it before your cutoff date. After you sign up for your starter box, you can adjust the delivery frequency for future orders as well.

If you need to make changes to your order, you can do it on your account page in a matter of minutes. Just make sure you do it at least 4 days before your next order is shipped.

If you’re heading out, you can choose to skip a delivery or reschedule up to 6 weeks at a time. You can also make Ollie travel with you by changing your delivery address on your account.
